The symbolic architecture of John Sun and Renee Zhu's Beauty United Space Salon constructs meaning through deliberate spatial metaphor, encoding the transformative salon experience within the visual language of transit and journey. The turquoise steel framework, evoking railway platforms, bus stations, and departure lounges, positions the patron as traveler embarking upon personal metamorphosis, the waiting bench becoming threshold between present self and future possibility. The color pairing of turquoise and orange activates archetypal complementary opposition, representing the reconciliation of cool intellectual distance with warm emotional engagement, or alternatively the meeting of sky and earth, water and fire, contemplation and action. The barrel-vault enclosure, with its womb-like curved interior, suggests sanctuary, protection, and transformative vessel, the arched form carrying associations with classical architecture's sacred spaces and the protective curvature of the cosmic dome. The exposed industrial ceiling, rather than concealing infrastructure, celebrates authentic materiality and honest construction, encoding values of transparency and integrity within the spatial experience. Tropical vegetation introduces archetypal garden symbolism, suggesting oasis, paradise, and natural vitality within the constructed environment, while their placement throughout the space creates visual rest points that guide the eye along the processional journey. The triadic orange forms in the middle ground function as directional arrows pointing toward destinations yet achieved, encoding anticipation and forward momentum. The polished floor, reflective and continuous, suggests the metaphorical path stretching before each patron, while the careful delineation of functional zones through color and form establishes ritual sequence from arrival through transformation to emergence renewed.
The design uses abstract elements of bus to bring about more topics. The designers adopted the main colors of the brand visual identity to divide spaces so as to form a dynamic color collision. Moreover, personalized modern elements are extracted from "bus", helping to create eye-catching visual effect. Topical and interesting interactive spaces, store appliance attract customers who pursue innovative things. Meanwhile, related products are also displayed here, giving guests a new immersive experience and then better understanding the brand meaning.
