Curvilinear architectural forms carry profound symbolic weight in this composition, evoking the archetypal imagery of water, waves, and organic growth that speaks to humanity's eternal connection with oceanic environments. The undulating horizontal bands wrapping these structures suggest the rhythmic patterns of tides and the geological strata of coastal formations, embedding temporal depth within contemporary form. The circular pools and roof elements invoke mandala symbolism, representing wholeness, cyclical renewal, and the centering of human experience within natural rhythms. The positioning of these organic forms against the rigid orthogonal geometry of the distant urban skyline creates a powerful visual allegory of synthesis between natural and constructed worlds, suggesting architecture as a mediating force that reconciles human ambition with ecological wisdom. The chromatic progression from warm foreground tones to cool atmospheric distance follows ancient spatial conventions while also suggesting a journey from the embodied present toward transcendent possibility. Water, appearing in multiple manifestations from infinite ocean to contained pools, carries universal significance as a symbol of purification, life-giving force, and the unconscious depths of human experience. The palm trees function as threshold guardians in many tropical symbolic systems, marking the boundary between cultivated human space and wild nature. The serpentine promenade traces a path that recalls labyrinthine journeys of transformation, inviting movement and discovery rather than static observation. The overall composition suggests an architectural philosophy aligned with phenomenological traditions that prioritize embodied experience and the creation of meaningful places within the vastness of natural landscapes.
This impressive "dynamic with the flow" and iconic landmark hotel allows urban view porosities to embrace both city and ocean. Spiral and the sloping urban roof garden of the hotel's ballroom promotes urban pedestrians' access and various activities. Almost 300m long building is cut into segments to bring down the overwhelming street scale and avoid "the wall effect". Single loaded corridor and S shape building is designed to allow maximum building envelope for all rooms having ocean view, which also satisfies the challenging 50m building height limit.
