Wen Liu's Mminni Alcoholic Beverage Packaging operates as a sophisticated exercise in conceptual reframing, drawing upon the archetypal associations of laboratory equipment to transform beverage consumption into an act of creative experimentation and personal discovery. The Erlenmeyer flask form carries profound symbolic resonance within collective cultural memory, evoking associations with scientific inquiry, systematic methodology, controlled experimentation, and the pursuit of knowledge through empirical investigation. By appropriating this iconic silhouette for spirits packaging, the design performs a meaningful symbolic transference, suggesting that the act of mixing and enjoying beverages participates in similar rituals of curiosity, precision, and revelatory discovery. The X motif functions as a multivalent symbol, potentially referencing the mathematical unknown awaiting solution, the crossed mark designating treasure or significant location, the multiplication symbol suggesting exponential possibilities, or simply the intersection point where different elements converge to create something new. The chromatic coding of the miniature vials employs color psychology strategically: the coral red suggests warmth, passion, and bold flavor; the aquamarine evokes freshness, clarity, and cooling sensation; the yellow radiates optimism, brightness, and citrus association. Mminni-X-Lab is a brandy designed for young people. X means unknown, infinite possibilities, goals and hopes in the design, which represents the exploration spirit of young people. The idea of design inspired by the product concept of towards the unknown and shine. In order to get rid of the traditional idea of brandy and produce a new brand recognition, the design uses unknown and color as the creative point to attract young people.
