Qoros 7 SUV Model

Golden A' Design Award Winner 2021

Crimson as chromatic signifier operates powerfully within automotive iconography, traditionally encoding passion, performance, prestige, and vital energy, qualities that Baoneng Chuangku Automobile Design's creation appears to embrace fully in its bold color selection. The formal vocabulary of the Qoros 7 SUV Model draws upon established archetypes of automotive design while synthesizing them into contemporary expression, with the aggressive frontal stance evoking guardianship and forward determination reminiscent of protective figures in cultural mythology. The honeycomb grille pattern carries associations with natural efficiency and collective purpose, echoing the geometric precision found in both organic structures and technological systems, suggesting a harmonious integration of nature and engineering. Numerologically, the prominent seven in the designation traditionally symbolizes completeness and perfection across numerous cultural frameworks, perhaps positioning this vehicle as a comprehensive solution to diverse mobility needs. The three-quarter perspective employed in the presentation follows conventions of automotive portraiture that maximize the revelation of sculptural form while suggesting motion and capability, a compositional strategy that dates to the earliest automotive illustration traditions. Spatial hierarchy places the vehicle in dominance over its environment, the blurred surroundings serving as subordinate context that emphasizes the clarity and purposeful definition of the primary subject. The interplay between glossy and matte surfaces creates a dialogue between sophistication and practicality, luxury and utility, aspiration and accessibility. Geometric language throughout employs flowing curves interrupted by precise angular accents, balancing organic approachability with technological confidence in ways that speak to contemporary desires for vehicles that serve as both tools and expressions of identity.

Qoros 7 seems like a rather good attempt to apply an design language of cubic to SUV models. It features a synergistic application of square design language on both interior design and appearance design of the car, including moving shape, intelligent vehicle system, ergonomic seats and practical riding space. It shows the recognizable image of cubic conveyed by its ubiquitous square symbols. Featuring an extensive use of ultra-high strength steel and lightweight aluminum for its body structure to ensure the safety of passengers and pedestrians.
