FENG CHENG's Sales Center deploys architectural symbolism through the sophisticated reinterpretation of deeply rooted cultural forms, the sweeping curved rooflines functioning as visual quotations of traditional East Asian architectural typologies while their material transformation into metallic surfaces signals contemporary aspiration and technological capability. The upswept terminations of these roof forms may evoke symbolic associations with ascension, aspiration, and the mediation between earthly and celestial realms that such gestures have carried across centuries of building tradition. The continuous amber edge lighting tracing these curves could be read as a contemporary manifestation of the traditional symbolic role of light as life force and spiritual presence, transforming the building into a luminous beacon that asserts presence and welcomes approach. The extensive glazing creating transparency between interior and exterior suggests symbolic values of openness, accessibility, and invitation, while the reflective water feature positioned along the approach axis introduces archetypal associations with purification, contemplation, and threshold transition. The geometric light channels embedded within the plaza hardscape may function as symbolic wayfinding, their linear networks creating legible paths that guide the visitor through the ceremonial approach sequence while suggesting connections and relationships. The chromatic dialogue between warm amber illumination and cool twilight atmosphere could be interpreted as symbolic representation of the building mediating between natural and constructed realms, between tradition and innovation, between earth and sky. The composition of solid and void, opacity and transparency, mass and light creates visual rhythms that suggest balance and harmony as guiding design principles. The threshold condition where roof curves lift upward may symbolize welcome and aspiration simultaneously, architectural gestures that acknowledge arrival while directing attention toward possibility.
The building is located at an intersection in Nanchang County, so it uses two typical blocks facing the urban road respectively which shape the building and form the entrance square. The building has a fairy well outline that reminds people of the traditional chinese building, and the elegant roof curve is very impressive too.
