Luo Heng's packaging design operates as a sophisticated system of cultural encoding, drawing upon ancestral visual vocabularies to construct meaning through material, form, and decorative program. The deep teal coloration carries significant symbolic weight, positioning the objects within chromatic territory associated with precious jade and patinated bronze, materials traditionally connoting longevity, virtue, and accumulated cultural value across generations. The taotie-derived decorative patterns function as visual anchors to bronze vessel traditions spanning millennia, these apotropaic masks and interlocking geometric systems historically serving protective and ceremonial purposes that the packaging metaphorically inherits. Gold elements operate through established associations with preciousness, illumination, and celebration, while their application as carriers of calligraphic text adds layers of linguistic meaning to purely chromatic signification. The bottle form itself participates in vessel archetype traditions, its proportions suggesting both functional containment and ceremonial presence, the squared shoulders and tapered body echoing archaic ritual vessels while the elaborate stopper assembly introduces verticality associated with aspiration and elevated status. The presentation box format references gift-giving traditions where the container itself communicates honor and respect toward recipients, its shared decorative vocabulary with the bottle creating systemic coherence suggesting thoughtful integration rather than arbitrary combination. Environmental staging amplifies these readings, the warm architectural backdrop and stone platform suggesting spaces of tradition and ceremony rather than mere commerce. The small sculptural figure introduces zoomorphic symbolism, archaic animal forms traditionally functioning as guardians and auspicious presences. Through this accumulation of symbolic strategies, the design constructs a narrative of heritage transmission, positioning the contained spirits as participants in cultural continuity rather than mere commodities.
Xi Jiu Hanmi bottle is based on oriental aesthetics to inherit the secret recipe of Han dynasty royal court. The design uses the graph implication to give people mental hint, such as the elements of Shuang Mao, four sacred animals in Han dynasty, Han dynasty palace tower, royal palace decoration, etc. to express the nobleness of Han dynasty. Combined with the dark red and luxurious gold color, it expresses the comprehension and explanation to the best Chinese Baijiu of Han dynasty.
