Ebru Sile Goksel's visual identity system for La Plage operates through carefully layered symbolic registers that communicate establishment values and experiential promises through iconographic, chromatic, and typographic codes drawn from hospitality and leisure traditions. The illustrated figures—woman with parasol, reclining bather, diving swimmer—function as archetypal representations of leisure and pleasure, their stylized Art Deco rendering connecting to a cultural memory of elegant coastal resorts and the democratization of seaside leisure in the early twentieth century, suggesting both accessibility and refined taste. The chromatic coding proves particularly significant: the deep olive-khaki green traditionally associates with natural environments, organic sophistication, and timeless rather than trendy aesthetics, while the gold metallic elements activate associations of luxury, celebration, and premium positioning without ostentation. The circular format of the coasters themselves carries symbolic weight, the circle representing completion, unity, and the cyclical nature of hospitality—guests arrive, are nourished, depart, and return.
