MADA s.p.a.m. LLC's Industrial and Office Building employs material symbolism that resonates with archetypal associations of earth, craft, and human industry. The terracotta coloration activates deep cultural memories connecting to ceramic traditions, kiln-fired surfaces, and the transformation of raw earth through human creative intervention, suggesting the building itself emerges from elemental processes rather than merely occupying territory. The vertical fin system functions as threshold architecture, creating permeable boundaries that mediate between interior refuge and exterior environment, embodying the archetypal liminal space where transformation and transition occur. The rectangular courtyard void introduced within the building mass carries symbolic weight as hortus conclusus, the enclosed garden archetype representing sanctuary, cultivation, and the bringing of nature within human ordering systems. The bipartite composition of warm earthbound base supporting cool ethereal tower suggests hierarchical relationships between grounded practicality and transcendent aspiration, body and spirit, the material realm supporting elevation toward light. Geometric repetition of the vertical elements creates visual rhythm evoking industrial productivity while simultaneously referencing organic growth patterns like standing forests or grain stalks in fields. The warm-cool chromatic dialogue between terracotta and silver-white activates complementary symbolic registers of fire and ice, earth and air, active energy and contemplative stillness. Green rooftop plantings complete a symbolic cycle of regeneration, suggesting that human construction need not oppose natural systems but may integrate with ecological processes in mutually sustaining relationship.
This project acts as an Urban Catalyst, shaping vibrant city life through a blend of industries, construction, and regeneration. It features three low-rise blocks linked to a high rise zone, supported by two slanted columns. Green spaces along Chuanqiao Road and loft style stacked volumes promote creativity. The facade, clad in 28,000 red ceramic tiles, offers a minimalist look, while courtyards, terraces, and rooftop gardens enhance nature and innovation.
