Qun Wen's architectural intervention encodes layers of spatial symbolism through its orchestration of transparency, reflection, and organic form contained within geometric discipline. The glass envelope functions as threshold between interior sanctuary and exterior landscape, its transparency speaking to aspirations of openness and connection while maintaining physical separation, a contemporary interpretation of the traditional screen or lattice that mediates between realms. The white sculptural masses within may be read as abstracted mountain forms, invoking the profound cultural symbolism of mountains as sites of spiritual elevation, permanence, and connection between earthly and celestial domains, a reading reinforced by their placement within a contemplative water garden setting. The horizontal stratification of these forms suggests geological time and natural accumulation processes, grounding ethereal cloud-like shapes in material reality. The reflecting pool operates as perhaps the most potent symbolic element, water traditionally representing wisdom, depth, clarity of mind, and the capacity for reflection both literal and philosophical. The perfect mirror it creates speaks to themes of duality, the relationship between appearance and essence, and the Buddhist concept of emptiness wherein forms arise and dissolve within awareness. The bilateral symmetry of the overall composition reinforces associations with balance, harmony, and cosmic order, while the singular pavilion floating within its watery surround suggests an island, a place of refuge and contemplation set apart from ordinary existence. The dialogue between rigid orthogonal framework and flowing organic interior forms may symbolize the creative tension between rational order and natural expression, discipline and freedom, human construction and natural process.

The designer aimed for visitors to experience the artistic conception of ‘hidden in nature.’ the entire project has two parts, the sales office and the commercial area. the sales office is a smaller part of the building, but is executed with an exquisite and delicate aesthetic. it is naturally engraved and hidden in nature, thus highlighting the concept of ‘seclusion’.
