The interlocking nature of the diagrid pattern may evoke associations with weaving and interconnection, suggesting themes of community, craft heritage, and the patient accumulation of skilled labor, while simultaneously speaking to contemporary computational design languages that celebrate algorithmic generation and parametric variation.
